Monthly order limit

Check how many orders your plan covers each month, what counts toward the limit, and what happens to review requests when you reach it.

Reviews is priced by orders per month. Every plan includes every Reviews feature: plans differ only in how many orders they cover each month. Every order Cevoid receives from your store counts toward your limit. Orders over the limit get no review request, and everything else in Reviews keeps working.

Navigate to Settings → Billing to see how many orders you've used this month.

Plans that include Reviews

The Reviews module is part of four plans: Reviews, UGC & Reviews, Loyalty & Reviews, and UGC & Loyalty & Reviews. Each plan covers a number of orders per month, which you choose when you add the Reviews module. For more orders than the highest option, the Reviews card shows Contact sales.

To add Reviews to your plan, or to change how many orders it covers:

  1. Navigate to Settings → Subscription
  2. Click Add module on the Reviews card. Skip this step if your plan already includes Reviews.
  3. Drag the slider on the Reviews card to the number of orders your store gets per month
  4. Click Continue under Your subscription. If your workspace hasn't had a free trial, the button is Start 14-day free trial.
  5. Click Update subscription in the checkout panel. When the change starts a free trial, the button starts the trial instead.

What counts as an order

An order counts once, when Cevoid receives it from your store or through the Cevoid API. Orders from every store and market in your workspace count toward the same limit.

OrderCounts toward the limit
An order Cevoid receives live after Reviews was added to your planYes
An order that's later canceled or refundedYes
An order with no product that can be reviewedYes
An order Cevoid received before Reviews was added to your planNo
Order history you import, from your store or through the APINo
An order received while your plan doesn't include ReviewsNo

Whether an order fits your limit is decided when it arrives, and changing your plan later doesn't change it. Orders that don't count don't get review requests either. For every rule that decides who gets a request, see Who gets a review request.

When the monthly count resets

The monthly order count follows the calendar month: it resets on the 1st of every month, at 00:00 UTC. Changing your plan doesn't reset it.

Check your order usage

Settings → Billing shows your order usage in the Orders field: the orders counted so far in the current month, out of your plan's limit. Under Modules, Reviews module shows how many orders per month your plan covers.

The meter updates each time an order arrives, and shows when the count resets next, such as Resets on Nov 1, 2026.

What happens at the limit

When the monthly order limit is reached, orders that arrive after it get no review request until the count resets. Everything else keeps working.

AreaAt the limit
Review requests for orders over the limitNot sent. Cevoid holds them under Incomplete in Reviews → Requests, with the reason Reviews monthly order limit reached
Requests through Klaviyo, Voyado, or a webhookHeld the same way. Requests for a webhook show in Outbox instead of Requests
Order syncKeeps working
Reviews from widgets, Shopify customer accounts, and importsKeep coming in
Verified buyer matchingKeeps working
Reviews AI and moderationKeep working
Extra chargesNone. Cevoid doesn't charge for orders over the limit

On the order itself, each product shows Monthly order limit reached. For every badge an order's products can show, see Review status on an order's items.

Send held requests after an upgrade

Neither raising your order limit nor the start of a new month sends held requests on its own. New orders that fit your limit get requests as usual. What you can do with a request held at the limit depends on how it's delivered:

DeliveryAfter you raise your limit
Klaviyo, Voyado, or a webhookRetry it under Incomplete in Reviews → Requests, or in Outbox for a webhook. See Skip, send now, retry, or replay a delivery
Cevoid emailContact us. Requests that Cevoid sends by email can't be retried in the app

A retry sends the request only if the order fits your new limit: the order's place in that month's count must be within the limit you have now. If it doesn't fit, the request stays held. Each request can be retried up to 3 times, until one year after it was first scheduled.

Shopify billing

On Shopify, you pay for your whole Cevoid plan, Reviews included, as one Shopify subscription. It's charged through one of your installed Cevoid apps, which Settings → Billing shows as the Billing app, next to the Billing Store.

Each module your plan includes needs its Cevoid app on a connected Shopify store. If your plan includes Reviews and none of your connected Shopify stores has the Reviews app, Cevoid shows Reviews app is not installed in the lower right corner of the app. Click Review to see your options. To install the app, see Add the Cevoid script.
