Posts

Posts are the foundation of your content library. Whether collected through social media, direct uploads, or your own brand feeds, every piece of content becomes a post that you can enhance, organize, and showcase across your marketing channels. Navigate to UGC -> Library to manage your posts.

Product tags

Product tags make posts shoppable. When you tag a product, Cevoid automatically connects the post to the product’s categories and brand from your catalog.

Add product tags

1. Open the post
2. Click the Products tab
3. Click Add products
4. Filter by collection or category, or search for specific products
5. Click Add for each product
6. Click Add products to save

Tagging levels

You can tag at different levels depending on how specific you want to be: All tagging levels work with product dynamic galleries. Tag at whatever level makes sense for the content.

Add hotspots

Hotspots show exactly where products appear in the image. Visitors can click hotspots to see product details.

1. Open the post
2. Click the Products tab
3. Click Add hotspot on the product
4. Drag the hotspot to the correct position

Labels

Labels help you organize content and control where posts appear. Use labels to:

• Build galleries with specific labels as content source
• Add filter buttons to galleries
• Filter the Library for specific content

Add or remove labels

1. Open the post
2. Click Add label
3. Select the labels to add or remove

​

Create a new label

1. Open a post
2. Click Add label
3. Type the name of your new label
4. Click Create label

You can also create labels from Settings -> Labels.

Caption

Captions are displayed alongside posts in your galleries and cards. For UGC, captions are saved from the original social media post or entered by customers during upload.

Translated captions

Captions are automatically translated based on your markets. Visitors see the caption in their local language with an option to view the original.

Edit a caption

1. Open the post
2. Click the Details tab
3. Click the caption
4. Edit the text
5. Click Save changes

Hide a caption

Hiding a caption removes it from all widgets but keeps it visible in your workspace.

1. Open the post
2. Click the Details tab
3. Hover on the caption and click the menu icon
4. Click Hide caption

Brand comment

Add a comment from your brand that displays below the caption in the popup. Use this to show appreciation or add context.

1. Open the post
2. Click the Details tab
3. Click the brand comment field
4. Write your comment
5. Click Save changes

Video thumbnail

Set a custom thumbnail for video posts.

1. Open the post
2. Pause the video at the frame you want
3. Click Set thumbnail

Re-assign a post to a profile

Creator names appear with posts in your widgets. UGC automatically includes the correct creator, but direct uploads default to your brand. Reassign posts to give proper credit.

1. Open the post
2. Click the Details tab
3. Click the profile value
4. Search and select the correct profile

View original post

For posts collected through social media integrations, you can view the original.

1. Open the post
2. Click View in the upper right corner

Download post

Download posts with automatic naming: creator name and date (e.g., tottej_2025-05-05.png).

1. Open the post
2. Click Download in the lower action bar

Accessibility

Cevoid automatically generates accessibility information for approved posts and translates it for each market:

• Alt text for images and videos
• Video captions
• Video descriptions

Edit accessibility fields

1. Open the post
2. Click the Details tab
3. Click the field you want to edit (Alt text, Video caption, or Video description)
4. Apply your changes
5. Click Save changes
