Segments

Group profiles dynamically by filter criteria to organize your brand community and control access to activities and rewards.

Segments group profiles dynamically based on filter criteria. As profiles change, they're automatically added or removed from segments based on whether they match the criteria. Use segments to organize your brand community, track different groups, and control who can access specific activities and rewards.

Navigate to Profiles → Segments to manage your segments. The page lists every segment with its number of Profiles, its % of profiles, and its Last activity. Click a segment to see its profiles.

Tip:

Your segments appear as tabs in the Profiles overview, letting you quickly switch between different groups.

Standard segments

Cevoid provides four predefined segments that correspond to the main modules:

SegmentDescription
Content CreatorsAll profiles with at least one post connected to them
Program MembersAll profiles that have opted into your loyalty program
ReviewersAll profiles that have submitted a product or company review

Standard segments cannot be edited or deleted.

Custom segments

Create your own segments to group profiles based on any combination of filter criteria. Custom segments use the same filters as the profiles overview, such as labels, tier, reviews, and profile properties. See Search and filter.

Profiles overview

Segments appear as tabs above the profiles table. Click a segment tab to view only the profiles that match its criteria.

Restrict activities and rewards

Make an activity or redeemable reward exclusive to specific segments by setting who can participate to Selected segments. Only signed-in members in at least one of the selected segments can see and access the activity or reward.

Learn more in Who can participate and Redeemable rewards.

Flows

A flow's Filter and If / else steps can check whether the profile is in a segment, with the Segment condition. See Conditions.

Data sharing

When you sync existing profiles to Klaviyo or Shopify with Sync profiles, you can limit the sync to the profiles in the standard segments you select.
