Voyado

Connect Voyado to send Cevoid events and profile data to Voyado, and use Voyado points in your loyalty program.

The Voyado integration connects your Voyado instance to Cevoid. Cevoid sends events and profile data to Voyado, so you can trigger automations and build segments there. You can also use Voyado's points system as your points provider in Cevoid.

Navigate to Settings → Integrations → Voyado to manage your Voyado integration.

Connect a Voyado account

A workspace connects to one Voyado instance. Cevoid needs a Voyado API key that can manage interaction schemas, create and update contacts, manage points transactions, and manage automation triggers.

  1. Navigate to Settings → Integrations → Voyado
  2. Click Enable. Connect to Voyado opens.
  3. Enter your Voyado API key in API key. Your customer success manager at Voyado can give you the key.
  4. Enter your client name in Client name, usually your company name
  5. Click Connect. A Voyado connected message appears.

Once connected, the page shows the date under Enabled on and your Voyado client name under Connected to.

Configure event sharing

Events let you trigger automations in Voyado based on activities in Cevoid. Events are sent as contact interactions. Voyado receives seven of the eight loyalty program events: every one except Cevoid: Challenge Available.

  1. Navigate to Settings → Integrations → Voyado
  2. Click Edit events in the Events section
  3. Enable the events you want to sync to Voyado
  4. Click Save

When you save, Cevoid creates an interaction schema in Voyado for each event you enabled, named after the event, such as Cevoid: Reward Fulfilled. Disabling an event removes its schema from Voyado.

Events are sent to Voyado in real time when they occur. Each event includes relevant data that you can use in your automation content. For example, the Cevoid: Reward Fulfilled event includes reward details, and the Cevoid: Tier Earned event includes tier information.

For a complete list of available events and their payloads, see Profile data and event sharing.

Review events and review requests aren't in Edit events. A flow in Settings → Flows sends them: see Send review events and Review requests.

Send a test event

You can send a test event to verify your setup. Cevoid sends the event to a test contact in Voyado, with sample data.

  1. Navigate to Settings → Integrations → Voyado
  2. Click Edit events in the Events section
  3. Click the play icon next to an event. The event's test dialog opens, with the data the event sends under Event payload.
  4. Click Send and verify event. A Success message appears, with a link to the test contact in Voyado: View the event details.

Configure profile data sharing

Profile data keeps your Voyado contacts in sync with information collected in Cevoid.

  1. Navigate to Settings → Integrations → Voyado
  2. Click Edit fields in the Profile Data section
  3. Enable the profile data fields you want to sync to Voyado
  4. Click Save

Profile data syncs automatically when it is collected or updated in Cevoid. The data appears as fields on the corresponding Voyado contact.

For a complete list of available profile data fields, see Profile data and event sharing.

Send test profile data

You can send test profile data to preview how it appears in Voyado. Cevoid fills a test contact in Voyado with sample values for every Cevoid profile field.

  1. Navigate to Settings → Integrations → Voyado
  2. Click Edit fields in the Profile Data section
  3. Click Test Profile. Create Test Profile opens, with the sample values under Profile fields.
  4. Click Create test profile. A Success message appears, with a link to the test contact in Voyado: View the profile here.

General settings

General settings control global Voyado behavior.

Profile sync behavior

Profile sync behavior determines what happens when Cevoid tries to sync data to a profile that doesn't exist in Voyado.

OptionDescription
Create profileCevoid creates the contact in Voyado automatically
Don't create profileCevoid skips profiles that don't exist in Voyado

By default, Profile sync behavior is set to Don't create profile, so Cevoid only syncs profiles that already exist in Voyado.

Use Voyado as points provider

You can use your existing Voyado loyalty points instead of Cevoid's points system. Voyado then manages your members' points, and Cevoid keeps no points balance. The setting, its steps, and what changes in your program are in Points provider.

Disconnect Voyado

  1. Navigate to Settings → Integrations → Voyado
  2. Click Disable
  3. Click Confirm in Revoke access?

Disconnecting stops all data syncing and event sharing with Voyado, and Cevoid removes the interaction schemas it created for your events. Contact data that was already synced stays in Voyado.

Troubleshooting

Invalid Voyado API credentials

Voyado didn't accept the client name and API key you entered in Connect to Voyado. Check both, then click Connect again.

Your Voyado API key does not have the necessary permissions

The API key can't do everything Cevoid needs. Ask Voyado for an API key with the access listed in Connect a Voyado account, then connect again.
