The Products & Markets settings page handles most of the connections to your ecommerce store.The language, product price, and currency displayed in all consumer-facing solutions are determined based on your Market settings.
In Cevoid, a Market is defined as a unique combination of language and currency of your website.
Once your markets are correctly set up, our widgets will automatically apply the correct language, prices, currencies, and other relevant details to match your market-specific settings, ensuring that the experience mimics the rest of your website. Learn more about how widgets are localized here.
Create and customize a market
Your first market is created automatically, and you can create separate markets for each of your localized storefronts.Please refer to the following articles for additional integration-specific instructions:
Market settings: Market details
The market details settings are used by Cevoid solutions to determine which market to use and what details to apply. The following information is needed for the market details:Setting | Description |

Domain | The market-specific domain. Example: coolshop.com for the international market and coolshop.com/fr for the French market. |
Country/Region | The country or region this market is used for |
Language | The market’s language. This also adds the language to Copy & Translations. |
Currency | The currency used for this market |
Title | Internal name in the platform to help your team keep track of your markets |
Default | Your store can have one default market that’s used for fallback cases; if no market matches the current structure, we’ll use this market. This is also the market we use when you tag posts with products. |
Market settings: currency options
These settings determine how prices and the currency symbol are displayed. Cevoid will automatically apply the best practices of the currency you chose under Market details.Setting | Description |

Hide prices | Hides product prices of product tags in all UGC widgets. |
Currency display | The format of the currency symbol (e.g., USD or $) |
Currency position | Where the currency symbol (before or after) the numerical price |
Display 2 decimals | Displays two decimals instead of the standard one (e.g., $43.50 instead of $43.5) |
Decimal delimiter | The symbol used to separate decimals (comma or period) |
Thousand separator | The symbol used to separate thousands (space, comma, or period) |
Round prices | Round prices to the full amount, and remove any decimals (e.g. $4385 instead of $4385.4) |

Custom ID | Set a custom ID for your market. This is useful if you want to use your own ID to fetch the market. | |

How Product catalogs are synced
Cevoid syncs each market’s product catalog continuously to ensure that product information is up-to-date and that new products are available in the platform.You can, at any time, trigger an additional sync manually by:
- Navigate to Settings -> Products & Markets
- Click sync product
