Cevoid’s Shopify integration helps you get started with both our UGC module and Rewards program module with just a few clicks. The integrations work with Markets for separate Shopify stores and Shopify Markets to one workspace, allowing you to localize all consumer-facing solutions, no matter your brand’s setup on Shopify.
This article includes general information for the Cevoid x Shopify integration. Please refer to the following articles for module-specific integration information:

Activate the Shopify Integration

We recommend that you install one of our Shopify apps to create your Cevoid workspace.
Once your workspace is set up, you can install another Cevoid Shopify app on the same store, and it will automatically be connected to the same workspace.

Connect additional Shopify stores

You can connect multiple Shopify stores to the same workspace, which allows you to build your whole Cevoid experience from one interface for all stores.
The multi-store connection requires that you use a global product identifier (SKU or Barcode) across your Shopify stores.
  1. Navigate to Settings -> Products & Markets
  2. Change the Global product identifier to Barcode or SKU based on your setup
  3. Ensure that you are logged in to the correct store in Shopify before continuing
  4. Navigate to Settings -> Integrations -> Shopify
  5. Click Add store
  6. Enter the store’s myshopify URL
  7. You are now redirected to Shopify, where you need to approve the app installation
  8. The Store has now been connected to the workspace and added as a Market
    1. Repeat steps #3-7 for any additional stores you want to connect

Add a Shopify market as a market in Cevoid

You’ll need to create a Market for each localized storefront to make sure that your Cevoid consumer-facing solutions are localized correctly.
  1. Navigate to Settings -> Products & Markets
  2. Click New Market
  3. Select the Shopify store from which you want to select markets
  4. Select the markets you want to add
  5. Click Add market(s)
  6. Adjust each market’s settings if needed (Article on Markets)

Share profile data to Shopify

Profile data you collect from your customers and information about their membership in your Rewards program can be shared to your Shopify store(s). This allows you to personalize your storefront to build segments in Shopify based on Cevoid information.
If you have multiple Shopify stores connected to your workspace, Cevoid will share profile data to the store related to the market each profile is linked to.

How profile data and events are shared based on your setup

Profile data collected or updated after you activate the fields will be synced automatically to Shopify.

  4. Toggle on the profile data fields you want to keep synced to Shopify
