Your team is everyone with access to your workspace. Each team member has a role, admin or user, that decides what they can do. There's no limit to the number of team members you can have in a workspace.

Navigate to [Settings → Team](https://app.cevoid.com/settings/team) to manage your team.

## How the team works

- **The team list:** [Settings → Team](https://app.cevoid.com/settings/team) lists every team member with their name, email, and role, _Admin_ or _User_. Someone you've invited shows _Invite pending_ until they join.
- **Roles:** Admins manage the team and a few settings for the whole workspace. Users can do everything else. See [Roles](https://docs.cevoid.com/workspace/team#roles).
- **At least one admin:** A workspace always keeps at least one admin. Cevoid doesn't let you remove the only admin or change their role to user.
- **One team per workspace:** If you belong to several workspaces, each has its own team, and you can have a different role in each. See [Several workspaces](https://docs.cevoid.com/workspace/workspace-settings.md#several-workspaces).
- **SSO:** In a workspace that uses single sign-on, your company's identity provider manages the team. See [The Team page in an SSO workspace](https://docs.cevoid.com/workspace/team#the-team-page-in-an-sso-workspace).

## Invite people

Only admins can invite people.

1. Navigate to [Settings → Team](https://app.cevoid.com/settings/team)
2. Click **Invite people**
3. Enter one or more email addresses in _Emails_, separated by commas
4. Select a role in _Invite as_. **User** is selected by default.
5. Click **Send invites**. The people you invited show _Invite pending_ in the team list.

Cevoid emails each person a link to join your workspace. The invitation is valid for 31 days.

The link opens _Join (workspace) on Cevoid_. The person clicks **Continue with email**, enters their _Full name_, and clicks **Join workspace**. Someone who already uses Cevoid keeps their login, and your workspace joins the others in their workspace menu. If your workspace enforces MFA, they set it up before they enter: see [Enforce MFA for your team](https://docs.cevoid.com/workspace/security-and-access.md#enforce-mfa-for-your-team). A link that has expired or been canceled opens _Unable to accept invitation_.

## Resend or cancel an invitation

Only admins can resend or cancel an invitation. An invitation shows _Invite pending_ in the team list until the person joins.

### Resend an invitation

1. Navigate to [Settings → Team](https://app.cevoid.com/settings/team)
2. Click **...** in the invitation's row
3. Click **Resend Invitation**. Cevoid emails the invitation again, and _Invitation resent to (email)_ shows.

### Cancel an invitation

1. Navigate to [Settings → Team](https://app.cevoid.com/settings/team)
2. Click **...** in the invitation's row
3. Click **Cancel invitation**
4. Click **Cancel invitation** to confirm. The invitation link stops working, and the row leaves the team list.

To invite the person later, [invite them](https://docs.cevoid.com/workspace/team#invite-people) again.

## Change a team member's role

Only admins can change roles. The workspace's only admin can't be changed to **User**.

1. Navigate to [Settings → Team](https://app.cevoid.com/settings/team)
2. Click **...** in the team member's row
3. Click **Edit user settings**
4. Select **Admin** or **User** in _Permissions_
5. Click **Save changes**. _User settings updated_ shows.

_User settings_ also holds the team member's _Full name_ and _Profile image_. Admins can edit them for anyone. Every team member can edit their own, with **Edit user settings** in their own row or on [Settings → Account](https://app.cevoid.com/settings/account).

## Remove a team member

Only admins can remove team members.

1. Navigate to [Settings → Team](https://app.cevoid.com/settings/team)
2. Click **...** in the team member's row
3. Click **Remove user**
4. Click **Remove user** to confirm. The team member loses access to this workspace, and _Team member deleted_ shows.

Their access to other workspaces doesn't change. To give them access again, [invite them](https://docs.cevoid.com/workspace/team#invite-people).

## Leave a workspace

To leave a workspace, remove yourself from its team. In your own row, **Leave workspace** takes the place of **Remove user**.

1. Navigate to [Settings → Team](https://app.cevoid.com/settings/team)
2. Click **...** in your own row
3. Click **Leave workspace**
4. Click **Leave workspace** to confirm. You lose access to the workspace, and Cevoid logs you out.

The workspace's only admin can't leave it until another team member is an admin.

## Roles

Each team member has one of two roles: _Admin_ or _User_. You select it when you invite them, and admins can [change it](https://docs.cevoid.com/workspace/team#change-a-team-members-role) later. Both roles work in every module, and roles don't limit which data a team member sees. The table shows what each role can do.

| --- | --- | --- |

| [Close the workspace](https://docs.cevoid.com/workspace/workspace-settings.md#delete-the-workspace) | Yes | No |
| Everything else, in every module | Yes | Yes |

API keys are on [Settings → Integrations → Cevoid API](https://app.cevoid.com/settings/integrations/api), where a key's **...** menu shows only for its owner and for admins. Admins also get the _Sending domain stopped verifying_ email: see [Notifications](https://docs.cevoid.com/workspace/notifications.md#reviews).

## The Team page in an SSO workspace

In a workspace that uses single sign-on (SSO), your company's identity provider manages who has access. [Settings → Team](https://app.cevoid.com/settings/team) then shows _Access managed through SSO_ instead of the team list, with no controls to invite people, remove them, or change roles. It asks you to contact your IT administrator to add or remove access, and names the identity provider you logged in with.

- **Joining:** People join as users the first time they log in with SSO
- **Roles:** To change a team member's role, contact Cevoid support
- **Your own settings:** You edit your own name and profile image on [Settings → Account](https://app.cevoid.com/settings/account), which has no _Permissions_ field

How to log in with SSO, and what else changes in an SSO workspace, is in [Single sign-on (SSO)](https://docs.cevoid.com/workspace/security-and-access.md#single-sign-on-sso).
