# Single-task activities

> Create activities where members complete a single action and earn a reward.

Single-task activities let members complete one action and earn a reward. Use them for ongoing engagement opportunities like collecting profile data, rewarding social follows, or incentivizing content uploads.

Navigate to [Rewards program -> Activities](https://app.cevoid.com/program/activities) to manage your single-task activities.

## Create a single-task activity

1. Navigate to [Rewards program -> Activities](https://app.cevoid.com/program/activities)
2. Click **New activity**
3. Select **Single-task**
4. Select the task type you want to use
5. Configure the activity settings
6. Click **Save changes**
7. Click **Set live** when ready to launch

## Activity settings

Configure the following sections when creating or editing a single-task activity.

### General

Basic information about the activity displayed to members.

| Setting       | Required | Description                                                    |
| ------------- | :------: | -------------------------------------------------------------- |
| *Title*       |     ✓    | The name of the activity shown to members                      |
| *Description* |          | A short description shown to members (max 150 characters)      |
| *Custom icon* |          | Upload a custom icon for the activity (256×256 px recommended) |

### Task specific settings

Each task type has its own settings. See [Available tasks](/program/activities/available-tasks) for details on each task.

### How many times can a member complete this activity?

This setting is available for tasks that can be repeated, such as Upload content.

| Option                  | Description                                                  |
| ----------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------ |
| ***One time***          | Members can complete the activity once                       |
| ***Once every x days*** | Members can complete again after a set number of days        |
| ***Unlimited times***   | Members can complete the activity as many times as they want |

### Participants

Control who can see and participate in this activity.

| Option                     | Description                                                   |
| -------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------- |
| ***Anyone***               | Visible to everyone, including visitors who are not logged in |
| ***Only program members*** | Only visible to logged-in members                             |
| ***Selected segments***    | Members in specific segments                                  |
| ***Members of tier(s)***   | Members in specific tiers                                     |
| ***Selected profiles***    | Specific members you select                                   |

### Rewards

Select the rewards members receive after completing the activity. Click **Add reward** to add multiple rewards. See [Available rewards](/program/available-rewards) for available reward types and how to create them.

### Dates

Control when the activity is available.

| Setting      | Description                                       |
| ------------ | ------------------------------------------------- |
| *Start date* | When the activity becomes available               |
| *End date*   | Optional. When the activity stops being available |

## Manage a single-task activity

### View submissions

1. Navigate to [Rewards program -> Activities](https://app.cevoid.com/program/activities)
2. Click on the activity name

The activity overview shows key metrics and all submissions. Click on a submission to view its details.

| Metric               | Description                                           |
| -------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------- |
| **Date range**       | The activity's start and end dates                    |
| **Available for**    | Who can participate in the activity                   |
| **Participants**     | Number of unique members who have participated        |
| **Participant rate** | Percentage of eligible members who have participated  |
| **Submissions**      | Total number of submissions                           |
| **Submission rate**  | Percentage of participants who completed the activity |

### Edit an activity

1. Navigate to the activity overview
2. Click **Edit** or click **More** and select **Edit**
3. Make your changes
4. Click **Save changes**

### Additional actions

Click **More** on the activity overview to access additional actions:

| Action        | Description                                |
| ------------- | ------------------------------------------ |
| **Edit**      | Open the activity settings                 |
| **Translate** | Add translations for different languages   |
| **Duplicate** | Create a copy of the activity              |
| **Pause**     | Temporarily hide the activity from members |
| **End**       | Permanently end the activity               |

## Filter activities

To show only single-task activities:

1. Navigate to [Rewards program -> Activities](https://app.cevoid.com/program/activities)
2. Click **+ Filter**
3. Select **Type**
4. Select **Single-task**
